Film tear! is a German satirical film comedy directed by Felix Gerbrod from 2011 . The film was the opening film of the 2012 Berlin punk film festival "Too Drunk To Watch".

action

Hamburg 2011. After an argument with his mother, the young Jens spends the night on a park bench and the next morning he meets Andy, an old punk. He advises him to become a punk and gives him Keule's phone number. After another argument with his mother, he calls Keule and meets with him. To be accepted into the Mönckeberg scene, he should get 300 marks for the anti-social aid fund, must follow certain rules and pass three exams. Since the money he brought with him wasn't enough, he went begging and got tips from a scrounger.

Back with the money, he is visually transformed into a punk, gets clothes, a mohawk haircut, a piercing and a tattoo and sleeps at Keule. The next day he was introduced to the punk scene on Hamburg's Rathausmarkt. Since he doesn't want to go back to his mother, he moves in with Breme, who has a free room. Here he also experiences his first sex with a rat.

The exams begin in the evening. To pass the first, he has to survive a night under a bridge. Before that, he is given LSD that has been dissolved in a bottle beforehand. The next day there is first the zombie walk, which is not part of the exam, and then a demonstration where he has to start a fire. The third test is not to kill a rat when asked to. He also passes this test and receives 100 marks from the punk fund.

At the subsequent party, he was presented with his Punker ID. Meanwhile, his girlfriend Rat cheats on him with the punk girl Chaos. The next day, Breme, who was in Amsterdam for the weekend, threw him out of the apartment because he had not obeyed his apartment rules. In the hallway he is arrested by the police who have identified him as the arsonist. Back on the park bench from the beginning, he meets a skinhead who tells him to become a skinhead.

Reviews

“The film buffs, the art house friend, but also the mainstream consumer will probably have their hair on end with the film, which is not that bad at all. After all, it's a 100% punk film that comes straight from life and the street and is not contrived or made up. The best thing to do is to watch the part with a few friends and 2 crates of beer, so the film, which also has a cool soundtrack, becomes entertaining, trashy entertainment and is almost a must. "
