Filoimea Telito
Sir Filoimea Telito GCMG , MBE (born March 19, 1945 in Vaitupu ; † July 11, 2011 ) was a governor-general of Tuvalu from Vaitupu . He took office on April 15, 2005 as the successor to Faimalaga Luka , who was retired. As Governor General he represented the British Crown until his resignation in 2010 .
He used to be the school principal and pastor of the Christian Church of Tuvalu .
