It received its current facade design around 1870. The facade was redesigned in the style of late classicism . Levels Cross pilasters carry a rich entablature with a Konsolgesims and one with acanthus decorated frieze .

The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 835 because of its facades.
