Financial Intermediation Services, Indirectly Measured

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Financial Intermediation Services, Indirectly Measured , abbreviated to FISIM , in German " Financial Services, Indirect Measurement" designate in the national accounts the indirect fees of the banks from the lending and deposit business, which they generate in addition to the directly generated sales (e.g. account management fees). They are determined by the Federal Statistical Office in model calculations. The FISIM are partly included in the production value and in the intermediate consumption , but also in consumption , in exports and in imports .
