Haus Finkenherd 6 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site .

It is located on the north side of the Quedlinburger Schlossberg in the Westendorf district .

According to a legend, the surroundings of the house are considered to be the place where the Saxon Duke Heinrich learned during the bird trapping that he was elected German king.

Architecture and history

The three-storey, two - part half - timbered house was built around 1780. The compartments are lined with bricks. In 1980 the building was extensively renovated.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 45879 .
