Fiona Allen

Fiona Allen (born March 13, 1965 in Bury , United Kingdom ) is an English comedian and actress .

Life

Allen's grandfather was Harry Allen , the last British executioner , and her mother was born in Spain . Allen is married to the son of British presenter Michael Parkinson . Together they have three children, two daughters, Honey and Sofia, and a son, Felix.

In the late 1980s she worked at the reception of Manchester Nightclub's Fac 51 Haçienda and made a brief appearance in the film 24 Hour Party People , where she played herself.

Career

Allen has appeared in many different sketch comedies, such as: B. We Know Where You Live (Channel 5), Smack the Pony (Channel 4), Goodness Gracious Me and The All Star Comedy Show . She has also appeared in many drama series such as Dalziel and Pascoe and Coronation Street , as well as on the sitcom Happiness alongside Paul Whitehouse . She then appeared as Sandra, in the film version of Fat Slags in the Viz comic book series The Fat Slags , and as a panelist on an issue of Mock the Week .

Allen appeared as Maxxie's mother, Jackie Oliver , in the first episode of the second season of the teen drama Skins . The role Jackie is married to Walter, who is played by Bill Bailey . She also appeared in the BBC drama Waterloo Road as Georgia Stevenson, where she played the former lover of Tom Clarkson.
