Firdaus Saripovich Kabirov

Firdaus Saripowitsch Kabirow ( Russian Фирдаус Зарипович Каби́ров ; born May 19, 1961 in Naberezhnye Tschelny , Soviet Union ) is a Russian marathon rally driver .

In 1991 he contested his first Dakar rally for KAMAZ . In 2005 he won the Dakar Rally for the first time after team captain Vladimir Chagin had to retire due to fuel problems. In 2006 he finished third. In his 16th participation, he won his second victory in 2009 , just ahead of Tschagin.
