The Fisher Spur is a rugged rock spur in the north of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Usarp Mountains it extends immediately north of Mount Nero from the western flank of the Daniels Range in a northerly direction.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after the geophysicist Dean F. Fisher, who worked at McMurdo Station between 1967 and 1968 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program .
