Sapanlı ( Kurmanji : Fisqîn) is an abandoned jesidisches village in the southeast of Turkey . The village is about 40 km northeast of Nusaybin in the Nusaybin district of the same name in the Mardin province . The place is located at the foot of the Tur Abdin mountain range in southeastern Anatolia .

Sapanlı (Fisqîn) is located about 3 km northwest of Değirmencik (Qolika).

History and population

The original name of the village is Fisqîn. The villages were renamed as a result of the Turkishization of geographical names in Turkey . The village had an exclusively Yazidi population.
