The Flörkendorfer Mühlenau is a river in the communities of Ahrensbök and Scharbeutz in the Ostholstein district , Schleswig-Holstein .

It rises northwest of Ahrensbök and flows through the urban area and is dammed south of Ahrensbök (near Flörkendorf ) to the Flörkendorfer Teich ("lake") and Flörkendorfer Mühlenteich , which it leaves eastward, around one kilometer (at the "Talmühle") again to be dammed into a pond. From there it then flows in a north-easterly direction (north past Schwochel ) and through Wulfsdorf , to flow east of Wulfsdorf into the Schwartau , one of whose most important tributaries it is.
