The Fløymannen ( Norwegian for flank man ) is a nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Kirwanveggen it rises immediately north of the western end of the Neumayer steep face .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it after its geographical position, mapped it based on surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) created between 1958 and 1959 .
