Flags and coats of arms of the regions of Lithuania
This list shows the flags and coats of arms of the former districts (apskritys) of Lithuania that have existed since 1994.
layout
The coats of arms all had a blue border in ten golden double crosses, the cross of Vytis . Władysław II Jagiełło accepted the double cross as the alleged cross of St. Ladislaus when he was baptized in 1386. The flags were either heraldic banners or had the heraldic shield on a white background, framed by the blue border with the crosses.
