Flash Brown (born January 17, 1981 in Memphis , Tennessee ; actually Gabriel Brownlee ) is an American porn actor and former professional basketball player .

Life

Brown played basketball in high school and was part of the Amateur Athletic Union . He also played basketball in college and graduated with a degree in general education. He then played semi-professionally in the United States and professionally in Ireland and China.

He then tried his hand at modeling and met a photographer in Los Angeles in 2009, who persuaded him to give it a try as a porn actor. He adopted the name "Flash Brown", which is made up of his old high school nickname "Flash" and his shortened real last name. After only a year in the porn industry, he received his first prizes. In 2010 he won the Urban X Award for Best Male Newcomer. In 2011 he received the AVN Award for "New Male Performer of the Year".

In 2011 he founded his own porn studio, Flash Brown Productions, with Anjanette Astoria's Shinefish Films. In 2015 he signed an exclusive contract with Blacked.com.
