The Flat Top (English for flat summit ) is a striking, over 4000 m high and icy mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . With its large, flattened summit, it rises in the Queen Maud Mountains east of the Osicki Glacier . It is the highest mountain in the Commonwealth Range .
The South Pole group in the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott gave it its descriptive name.
