The Flensing Icefall is a large glacier break on the eastern flank of the Bowers Mountains in East Antarctica Victoria Land . It is located south of the Platypus Ridge at the point where the Graveson and Rastorgujew glaciers meet in the Lillie glacier .
The northern group of from 1963 to 1964 campaign carried out under the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic expedition named it after the appearance of its parallel crevasses , the them to the strips of bacon in Abflensen (English: flensing ) reminded a Walkadavers.
