Florea Fătu (born July 17, 1924 in Ciocile , † December 11, 1995 ) was a Romanian football player . He played a total of 137 games in the Divizia A .

Career

Fătu's career began with Juventus Bucharest in 1942 . Since the league operations had been interrupted at the time due to the Second World War, he did not come to his first assignments in Divizia A until the 1946/47 season . After scoring 14 goals in 24 games, he moved to the newly established ASA Bucharest in the summer of 1947 . During the 1948/49 season he returned to Juventus, which was now called Petrolul Bucharest . There he could not build on his previous scoring threat. When the club moved to Ploieşti in early 1952 , it remained with the club. At the end of the 1952 season , he had to relegate his team. At the same time he reached the Romanian Cup final with his team , but lost to CCA Bucharest 2-0. After rising again in 1953 , he was only used five times in Divizia A and ended his career at the end of 1954.

National team

Fătu played a game for the Romanian national team when he came on on July 19, 1947 in the friendly against Poland at half-time for Nicolae Dumitrescu .
