Florentine hat

The Florentine hat is a flat, wide-brimmed straw hat decorated with flowers or a veil . In the original it was made from wheat straw . Frequently guard by Hutbänder out was Rips , chiffon or silk decorated. Long ties made of silk or grosgrain were often attached to the back of the hat.

It was mainly worn as a summer hat from the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century and was also a fashion accessory in women's clothing in the 1930s and 1950s .
