Florian Alexandru-Zorn

Florian Alexandru-Zorn (* August 22, 1984 ) is co-founder and managing director of the Ed-Tech startup OnlineLessons.tv GmbH, lecturer for drums at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg , author, drummer and member of the federal government's expert group for digital education networks.

Life

Alexandru-Zorn studied jazz and popular music with a major in drums at the Mannheim University of Music . Alexandru-Zorn published his first book, Die Kunst des Besenspiels, while still a student . Through this book he gained international fame and he received assignments as a lecturer in the field of brush games. From 2011 he worked as an author for the drum magazine Modern Drummer . He performed several clinic tours at PASIC, the Montreal Drum Festival and the Chengdu Drum Festival, among others. Further book and DVD publications followed in the following years, each by Alfred Verlag .

In 2014 Alexandru-Zorn founded the Ed-Tech Startup OnlineLesons.tv GmbH together with his business partner Marco Besler. This company creates media content in the music education sector and is an official cooperation partner of the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg .

In addition to his teaching and authoring activities, Alexandru-Zorn's focus is on the further development and use of digital teaching content, as well as on advising lecturers and companies in the field of smart learning technologies.
