Florian Esdorf (born February 21, 1995 in Rostock ) is a German football player who is mostly used in central defense. He is under contract with Hansa Rostock and plays in the second team.

Career

After his stations at PSV Ribnitz-Damgarten and FSV Bentwisch, Florian Esdorf moved to Hansa Rostock's youth team in 2008 and was promoted to the Rostock second team in 2014. In the Oberliga Nordost he made his debut under coach Thomas Finck on April 20, 2014 in the 0-1 defeat against RSV Waltersdorf . On May 10, 2015, he brought his team in the 25th minute with a directly converted free kick 1-0 against 1. FC Neubrandenburg 04 and was able to celebrate his first goal in the second team. The game ended 3-0 for the Rostock second team.

In the goalless draw of the first team against VfL Osnabrück on January 30, 2016, Florian Esdorf was appointed to the starting line-up for the first time by Christian Brand , making his debut in the third division and in the first team. Esdorf won the 2016 regional cup with FC Hansa . At the end of August 2016, he was loaned to FC Schönberg 95 . There he completed 27 regional league games . The loan ended at the end of the 2016/17 season and Esdorf moved to the fourth division FSV Wacker 90 Nordhausen for the 2017/18 season . In Nordhausen Esdorf made a total of 70 league appearances in which he scored 8 goals. By winning the Thuringian State Cup in 2019, Wacker Nordhausen was entitled to take part in the DFB Cup next season. Esdorf met in the first round of the main to the FC Erzgebirge Aue and lost the game with 1: 4. In December 2019, Wacker Nordhausen filed for insolvency proceedings. Then Esdorf rejoined his youth and homeland club Hansa Rostock and played in the reserve team of professionals.
