Florian Gamper

Florian Gamper (born August 6, 1972 in Stuttgart ) is a former German athlete and son of Peter Gamper .

Career

His specialty was the 200-meter run with a personal best of 20.94 s. The greatest success was the victory at the German Indoor Championships in 1997 over 200 meters in 20.97 s. This puts him in 13th place on the all-time German indoor top list. This time is also the current Hessian state record.

During his playing days, Florian Gamper was 1.89 m tall and weighed 83 kg.

In 2001 he won the German championship title in the 4 x 100 meter relay with Alexander Richling , Christian Schacht and Tobias Unger in 39.32 s with his club, SV Salamander Kornwestheim in Stuttgart .

In 2005 he resigned after 15 years of competitive sport and has only competed in relay competitions for his club since then. In 2008 he ran two German senior records M35 in preparation for the German championships for the 4 x 100 meter relay.
