Florian Just (born February 28, 1982 in Nuremberg ) is a German figure skater .

biography

Florian Just started figure skating at EC Nürnberg when he was five. Parallel to figure skating, he also did roller art skating . At the age of 13 he moved to Munich EV because of the better training opportunities. Here he ran a single run for five years before moving to Berlin for pair skating. His first partner was Mariana Kautz from 2002 , but Just started again as a single runner in the 2003 season, while Kautz ended her career soon after.

Since January 2004 Florian Just ran with Mari-Doris Vartmann for the Essen youth figure skating club. Vartmann / Just initially trained with Julia Gnilosoubowa, in autumn 2004 they changed their coach and were then looked after by Knut Schubert . They trained in both Dortmund and Berlin. The couple separated in 2009 immediately after the NRW Trophy .

Florian Just has been training with Katharina Gierok from Krefeld since February 2010 . Katharina Gierok is ten years younger than Just and was previously a single runner.

Florian Just is a sports soldier in the Bundeswehr .
