Florian Lebek

Florian Lebek (born January 14, 1979 in Fulda ) is a German actor , writer , director and choreographer . He lives in Vienna, Hamburg and Berlin.

Education and career

After finishing school, he studied classical dance in Hamburg, took dance and singing lessons at the private Stage School of music, dance and drama and completed his musical training at the Stella Academy. He got lessons a. a. with Ricarda Ludigkeit and completed master classes with Maya Hakvoort, Cornelia Drese and Isabel Dörfler. He worked in Mozart! - the musical in the Neue Flora and worked as an actor in the Hamburg Dungeon . With colleagues he founded the improvisation group “Grober Fug”.

In 2004 he began studying acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, where he spent four years studying with Klaus Maria Brandauer . During this time he worked in various productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream , Krach in Chiozza , as Mephisto in Faust and as a prostitute in the dance at the Vienna Schauspielhaus . After completing his studies, he became an assistant to Klaus Maria Brandauer. In 2006 he read Peer Gynt with Brandauer with the music of Grieg and Manfred with the music of Schuhmann under the musical direction of Thomas Hengelbrock .

In the summer of 2006 Lebek sang the morality singer in the performances of the Threepenny Opera in Berlin's Admiralspalast . In the same year he was brought to the Klagenfurt City Theater by director Alexander Kubelka and Luc Bondy hired him to work at the Burgtheater in Vienna, where he stayed until the director changed to Matthias Hartmann . He is the playwright of Das Kronprinzenwerk , Zwei kleine Ante , Absolute Apocalypse and Heidi may not die and has choreographed galas, ballet and musical events.

Since 2012 he has appeared in productions at the Theater zum Fear in Vienna, The Visit of the Old Lady , Antonius and Cleopatra , The Red Noses , Therese Raquin , The Avengers , Maria Stuart, Power of Habit and Chekhov in Yalta . He realized the theater evenings Hamlet Project and Imperator . His reading evenings with a program for the 200th anniversary of the death of Marquise de Sade Philosophy in the boudoir could be seen in Austria and Germany. He shot the state film Zárójelentés in Hungary under the direction of István Szabó and assisted in Thomas Melle's play Die Überwältigung at the Nibelung Festival in Worms in 2019 .
