Florian Maier (born January 7, 1992 in St. Marien ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Maier started his career at Union St. Marien . In 2001 he moved to LASK Linz . In 2006 he went to AKA Linz . In 2009 he returned to LASK Linz, for whose amateur team he was used. In December 2010 he was in the professional squad for the first time, but was never used. With the LASK he was relegated from the Bundesliga at the end of the season . In the summer of 2011 it was awarded to SV Grödig . He made his second division debut for Grödig in August 2011 when he was substituted on in the final third of the game against SCR Altach . In summer 2012 he moved to FC Blau-Weiß Linz . In 2013 he was relegated to the Regionalliga Mitte with Blau-Weiß Linz . After the resurgence was initially missed in the following two years, Maier was able to return to professional football with Linz in the 2015/16 season .

For the 2018/19 season he moved to the regional league team ATSV Stadl-Paura .
