Florian Zschiedrich

Florian Zschiedrich (born February 14, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German television presenter and journalist .

Life

Florian Zschiedrich did a voluntary social year in the field of sport and a stay abroad in Cape Town in South Africa after his school years, which he finished with the Abitur at the Romain-Rolland-Gymnasium in Berlin in 2005 . In 2006 he began studying political science at the Otto Suhr Institute of the Free University of Berlin . He graduated in 2010 with a degree in political science.

During his school days and during his studies, Florian Zschiedrich gained his first television experience as an editor and presenter of the Berlin local sports program TV Sport in Berlin on the Spree Canal . Internships at SWR , Sat.1 and ZDF followed .

A few days after graduating, he started working as a reporter and editor for the sports department of the ZDF morning magazine in January 2011 . Since October 2015 Florian Zschiedrich has also been working as a moderator for the ZDF morning magazine (morning rail and sport).

He has also been a presenter for the German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle since January 2012 : from 2012 to 2014 as a sports presenter in the news program Journal and since 2014 as a news presenter in the main news program of DW .
