The Florianikapelle is a chapel in the 7th Graz district Liebenau in Styria . It is located in the immediate vicinity of the listed St. Christoph Church and is itself also a listed building .

history

The chapel at Liebenauer Hauptstrasse 291 or 292 in the cadastral community of Neudorf was built in 1846 according to a building inscription. It consists of a small rectangular building with an apse , has three bays and a facade with a triangular gable and a gable top crowned with an onion roof . The wrought-iron lattice wings of the main portal date from the construction period. Inside there is a square vault on pilasters . When Dehio Graz appeared in 1979 the condition of the chapel was described as poor, but this improved significantly in the decades that followed after extensive renovations.
