The Flowers Hills are a group of hills in the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . They extend south of the mouth of the Dater Glacier over a length of 30 km along the eastern edge of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains and reach heights between 1240 m and 1390 m .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) they mapped based on its own measurements and using aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1957 to 1959. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names renamed it in 1961 by Edwin Calvin Flowers (1927 to 2010), a meteorologist at the South Pole Station in Year 1957.
