Floyd Ziegler (born August 17, 1958 in Kitchener , Ontario ) is a Canadian snooker player from Brantford , Ontario.

Career

Floyd Ziegler won the Canadian Snooker Championship in 2007 and 2010 and came in 2nd in 2011. In 2012, the Canadian Snooker Association was allowed to nominate a player for a free place on the Snooker Main Tour and chose 53-year-old Floyd Ziegler. However, during the entire 2012/13 season he only registered for two tournaments in July 2012 and then did not take part due to visa problems. In the snooker world rankings , he was held in last place all season. Although his nomination would still have been valid for a second professional year, Ziegler was no longer considered in the following season. At the end of June 2013 he won his third Canadian championship.
