The Khasab Airport ( Arabic مطار خصب, DMG Maṭār Ḫaṣab ) is a mixed military (English: Khasab Airbase ) and civilian airport near al-Chasab in the Musandam Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman .
Location and facilities
The airport is located south of the port, on the western edge of the core city at a height of 30 m AMSL . It has a 2500 m long, 23 m wide asphalt runway oriented 01/23. There is no ILS .
Airlines and Destinations
The airport is currently also served by scheduled services. The Omani state airline Oman Air comes to Chasab every day with an Embraer 175 from its base at Muscat Airport . The flight time between the two cities is around 65 minutes.
