The Kimberley Airport ( english Kimberley Airport ) is the airport of the city of Kimberley in South Africa's Northern Cape Province .

history

The aviation industry in Kimberley has a long history, dating back to the early 1900s. In 1930, Kimberley Airport was rated as the best night landing airport in Africa. During the war, Union Defense Force fighter pilots trained at Kimberley Airport .

The airport had a passenger volume of 177,260 in 2016/17.
