Airlines and Destinations

Until October 2005, the Hanan International Airport was flown once a week by the Samoan airline Polynesian Airlines from Apia (Samoa) with small aircraft, which today only serves the route from Apia to Pago Pago (American Samoa). Since November 2005 there is only one flight connection to Niue. Every Friday and, since May 2014, every Wednesday, Air New Zealand flies from Auckland with an Airbus A320 to Niue Airport. In 2007 there were 123 flights on this route, with which 9292 passengers were carried.
