The Sulaymaniyah International Airport is an airport located twelve kilometers outside the city of Sulaymaniyah in Iraqi Kurdistan in Iraq . The airport has facilities for both cargo and passengers. Sulaimaniyya International Airport has three terminals for Departure, Arrival and VIP. Construction of the airport began in November 2003 and the inauguration was on July 20, 2005.
