The Messerschmitt Flight Museum is an aircraft museum opened by the Messerschmitt Foundation in Manching in Upper Bavaria in 1998 on the occasion of Willy Messerschmitt's 100th birthday .

The museum is housed in a hall at the western end of the Airbus Defense and Space premises . The Ingolstadt / Manching Air Base is in the immediate vicinity . A total of eight Messerschmitt machines in flightworthy condition can be seen in the museum. Some of them are replicas.

- Bf 109 G-4 (conversion with Daimler-Benz engine from Hispano Aviación HA-1112 )
- Bf 109 G-10 (conversion with Daimler-Benz engine from Hispano Aviación HA-1112)
- Bf 109 G-12 (two-seater conversion with Rolls-Royce Merlin engine from Hispano Aviación HA-1112; can be converted to a Daimler-Benz engine; is operated at the Heringsdorf site by the Hangar 10 Museum)
- Me 163 (glider-capable replica without rocket drive)
- Me 262 (airworthy replica with General Electric engines)

At the same time, exhibits from Messerschmitt's time in Bamberg , when he had prefabricated houses , sewing machines , irons and the Messerschmitt cabin roller , can be seen. The aim of the museum is to present and maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition.
