The Matam airfield ( French Aérodrome de Matam / Ouro Sogui , IATA: MAX, ICAO: GOSM) is an airfield near the city of Matam in the Matam region in northeast Senegal .
The airfield is operated by the Senegalese government for civil aviation . It is located on the N3 national road about ten kilometers southwest of the Matam regional prefecture and on the southwest outskirts of Ourossogui .
