The Punitz airfield is located in the north of the village of Punitz in the Tobaj municipality in the Güssing district in southern Burgenland . The USFC-Punitz sports aviation club is the owner and operator of the airfield.

The runway is 820 m long by 18 m wide and is approved for aircraft up to 6700 kg. Approved engine airplanes , helicopters , motor gliders , gliders , ultralight aircraft and balloons .
Uses
The airfield is also used for parachute and glider operations and houses an aircraft yard, an air taxi service for sightseeing flights, aircraft charter and flight schools for motorized and glider flights (USFC Punitz and Punitz Flug).
Events
- On December 31, 2019, a helicopter overturned on landing and was badly damaged. Both inmates were only slightly injured.
