The Simenti airfield ( French Aérodrome de Simenti , IATA: SMY, ICAO: GOTS) is an airfield in the south-east of Senegal . It is located near Simenti , a hotel complex in the Niokolo-Koba National Park in the Tambacounda region .
The airfield is operated by the Senegalese government for civil aviation . It is located in the national park about two kilometers northeast of the Gambia near the confluence of the Niokolo Koba and on the territory of the Communauté rurale Dialacoto in the Tambacounda department .
