Future planning and owner
In recent years the question has arisen how to invest in the airfield in order to economically strengthen the Kolubara Okrug and the city of Valjevo as its center. The large regional economic units and the city of Valjevo, which is still interested in participating in the airport, are trying to invest. A group of shareholders from the city of Valjevo and several private companies operate the airfield. "Aeroklub Valjevo" holds the largest share of the shares with 41.72%, followed by "Termoelerktro" with 23.89%, "Ikar" with 16.64% and "Vujić Valjevo" with third place 13.68. Opština Valjevo has small shares with 2.76%, as well as "JP Valjevo-turist" with 1.05% and most recently Krušik with 0.26% of the shares.
