Kolubara ( Serbian Колубарски округ, Kolubarski okrug ) is a Serbian administrative district in the northwest of the Serbian heartland.

It consists of the following municipalities ( opštine ):

According to the 2002 census, this district has 200,560 inhabitants. The main administrative seat is the city of Valjevo on the banks of the Kolubara River .

This region is important for its cultural and historical monuments such as the Turkish Palace, a typical example of Turkish architecture from the 13th century . Also worth seeing are the tower of the Nenadovic family and the Valjevo church from 1838 , a classical building.

Important branches of industry in this region are the metal industry ("Krusik" and "Gradac"), the food and meat industries ("Srbijanka").

The main tourist destinations are Divčibare Mountain and Vrujci Spa .
