The Jablanica District (Јабланички округ, Jablanički okrug ) is located in the south-eastern part of Serbia. The capital and the main administrative seat of the district is Leskovac .

According to the 2002 census, the Jablanica district has a population of 255,011.
Culture
This district became famous through the discovery of a Roman tomb from the 2nd century in Mala Kopasnica . Other sights in this district are the monasteries named Sv. Jovan Kritelj ( Eng .: "Saint John the Baptist") and Sv. Devica Marija ( German : "Holy Virgin Mary") from 1499 . There is also a church from the 16th century , which was also consecrated to St. John and is one of the most beautiful European monuments internationally. The archaeological site of Iustiniana Prima , a city founded in the 6th century, is located in the municipality of Lebane .
economy
The most important industrial enterprise in this area is the pharmaceutical and chemical industrial enterprise "Zdravlje AD", furthermore the plastics factory "Pobeda", "Tomako", the meat manufacturer "Mesokombinat", the textile manufacturer "Letex" and the cosmetics manufacturer "Nevena" are located.
