The Kolubara is a river in Serbia .
It is created in the city of Valjevo by the confluence of the two smaller rivers Obnica and Jablanica . The Kolubara flows into the Save after about 100 km .
The Kolubara is the namesake of the Serbian district of Kolubara and the mining company Rudarski Basen Kolubara , whose lignite opencast mines are located several kilometers along the central reaches of the river.
