Fode Maclean Dabor

Fode Maclean Dabor (born September 13, 1948 ) is a former Sierra Leonean diplomat .

education

In 1979, he graduated in law from. In 1980 he graduated with a degree in criminal law , became a member of the England and Wales Bar and was admitted to the bar.

Career

From 1981 to 1986 he was employed in the Legal Department of the State Council of Sierra Leone. From 1986 to 1998 he was First Counselor of the Legal Department of the State Council. From 1988 to 1996 he ran a law firm specializing in civil and criminal matters. In 1996 he was employed at the Sierra Leone Mission at the EU Parliament in Brussels . From 1996 to 2000 he was employed at the Sierra Leone Mission at the UN headquarters in New York City . From 2000 to 2001 he was Ambassador to Addis Ababa and was a permanent representative to the Organization of African Unity and the Economic Commission for Africa . From October 29, 2002 to October 20, 2008 he was ambassador to Brussels and was also the first ambassador of Sierra Leone to the Holy See.
