Map with all coordinates: The Folgefonn tunnel is a single-tube road tunnel between Eitrheim in the municipality of Ullensvang and Mauranger in the municipality of Kvinnherad in the Norwegian province ( Fylke ) Vestland . At 11,137 m, it is the third longest road tunnel in Norway (as of January 2014).
The tunnel was opened on June 15, 2001 after three years of construction. The construction was financed by tolls levied until 2016 ( NOK 72 / car).
It passes under part of the Folgefonna National Park .
