The Foolsmate Glacier (English for Narrenmatt Glacier ) is a small and very rugged glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows 17.5 km west of Shafer Peak in a northeast direction to the Priestley Glacier .
The name goes back to members of the southern group of a 1962 to 1963 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition . The further naming background has not been passed down.
