The Footscrew Nunatak is a 1865 m high nunatak in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Quartermain Mountains it rises 2.2 km southeast of Altar Mountain, southwest of Windy Gully .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1993, like other objects in the area, after a term from geodesy . Name factor is a foot screw ( English foot crew ) which, when the leveling is geodetic measuring instruments use.
