The Formartine United Football Club , in short Formartine United , is a Scottish football club from Pitmedden , Aberdeenshire . Currently (as of 2014) he plays in the Highland Football League . The club is coached by former Manchester United player Steve Paterson . The club plays its home games in the 2,500-seat North Lodge Park .
history
The association was founded on March 15, 1948 in a school in Pitmedden . A. Rennie was the first president. A short time later, the club was accepted into the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association , which was formed in 1947. The first official league home game was played on August 8 of the same year in the local North Lodge Park against the Cove Rangers . The club has played in the Highland Football League since 2009 .
