Formosa Plastics Group (FPG, Chinese 台塑 集團 ) is a Taiwanese chemical company that is one of the largest in the world. FPG is one of the largest manufacturers of plastics ( PVC , PP , PE ).

Formosa Plastics Corporation was founded in 1954 by YC Wang .

criticism

The Formosa Ha Tinh Steel plant is suspected of being responsible for a fish death in Vietnam. Four Vietnamese provinces are affected. A Formosa manager aroused displeasure with the remark that the Vietnamese had to decide whether they wanted to produce steel or eat fish.
