action

As a naive farmer, Chou T'ien-Tsai goes to Taipei to meet his internet friend in person. He is a romantically inclined young man and therefore believes in true love. (He even has a book called Love Is A Kind Of Trust ); He is accordingly disappointed in his friend when he suggests sex without love. Instead, T'ien goes out in the pub and runs into his former schoolmate Yu. At the same time he meets Bai Tie Nan, who is notorious as a notorious playboy. T'ien quickly developed a personal interest in Bai.

After spending the night at the pub and moving in with Yu, T'ien gets a job as a pool attendant, meeting regularly with Bai, who seems to like T'ien. In intermediate scenes with Bai and his psychologist , it becomes clear that Bai has a problem with kissing people. After he was advised to practice it first on a mirror and then on a mannequin (which neither helps him), he tries to kiss his old friend, but that fails because Bai cannot bring himself to do it.

One night T'ien appears in front of Bai's doorstep, and they finally go to bed together. In keeping with its nature, Bai disappears the next day. He asks his friend to go to T'ien to explain that he must not misunderstand the matter . T'ien is deeply hurt, and since he does not know Bai's whole problem with love and intimacy, he leaves him a message: Such misunderstandings will not happen again.

T'ien then sets out to move out of his roommate's apartment and return to his old home. Meanwhile, T'ien's friends meet Bai, who admits that he has hurt T'ien, whom he loves. He secretly hopes for a second chance and finally sees T'ien as he climbs an escalator. A first plea for forgiveness fails and T'ien literally runs away from him. After T'ien is almost run over by a motorcycle, but is saved by Bai, the two make up in the end.
