The Forsan is a 12.5 km long river in the municipality of Örnsköldsvik in the Swedish province County Västernorrland . It rises in Västergundsjösjön and flows from there in a southerly direction to Yttergundsjön . There it turns to the northwest and flows almost to Gottne , where it makes a short bend to the south and flows into the same half a kilometer south of the mouth of the Utterån in the Moälven .
