The Foster Peak is a 386 m high mountain on South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It rises between Jason Harbor and Busen Point, southeast of Justa Peak on the Lewin Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It is named after the whaler Southern Foster , who was torn from its anchorage in a storm in 1964 and sank between Jason Island and South Georgia.
