Foucault is a small lunar impact crater on the southern bank of the Mare Frigoris , southeast of the Harpalus crater .
To the south in the rocky terrain you can see the Sharp crater . The outer boundary of Foucault forms an irregular circle with slight bulges in the south and northeast. The inner walls of the crater fall evenly onto an uneven crater floor.
