Foulé (textile)

Foulé refers to a textile fabric.

The fabric is a fine and noble material for dresses and suits that has been refined with a melton finish . Common textile fibers are combed yarn , carded and semi-worsted in equilateral twill weave .

Foulé is softer to the touch than cloth and has a shorter fiber pile than flannel . The bond pattern is not completely covered.
